1.0 Call to Order - Welcome - Linda Lockyer
● Linda called the meeting to order at 10:10 AM
● Linda explained that WBPOA would be reviewing the association’s bylaws. Tom Goldie has agreed to assist with this process.
2.0 Minutes AGM August 13, 2022 - Linda Lockyer
● Minutes available on WBPOA website
2..1 Financial Report - 2022 Year End
● Gary Seagrave tabled the 2022 year end report.
● Motion to approve by Ed, seconded by Clifford, carried.
2.2 Appointment of Reviewer Financial Accounts - Gary Seagrave
● John Lapelo was thanked for reviewing this year’s accounts
● John has agreed to review the 2023 accounts.
2.3 Election of Directors for 2023/24
2.3 1 introduction of Current Directors
● Sue Middleton- Norwood, Tracey Price, Lisa Bugler, Linda Lockyer, Gary Seagrave, Ray Stittle, Debbie Currie, Sheila Sutherland
● Sheila Sutherland has retired from the board
2.3 2 Serving 2nd year of 2 year term: Sue, Tracey, Lisa, Linda

Community Meeting
3.0 Treasurer’s Report - Gary Seagrave
● Balance as of end of August $13,334
● $2,000 donation to GBGH for MRI fundraising, ($1,000 from History Committee and $1,000 from Property Owners)
● $100 donation to Kids Bingo at Bayshore
4.0 Membership Report - Tracey Price
● Tracey outlined the importance of membership fees to fund activities of the Association such as Phrag digs, community clean ups, rental for meetings
5.0 Updates on Current Issues
5.1 Environmental Report - Lisa Bugler
● Work has been done at Woodland Beach Park by Tiny Township - new boardwalk and fence
● WBPOA offered to finance benches in the new outlooks but Tiny Township has put this in their 2024 budget
● Lisa reported on the importance of healthy sand dunes, native plants and grasses and the use of sand fencing by the town and waterfront property owners
5.2 Pedestrian Safety Campaign - Tracey Price, Dana Bradshaw
● Tracey outlined the history of WBPOA since 2010 requesting actions from Tiny Township regarding speeding in the community
● Dana outlined ideas to pursue to help slow traffic so that it is safer for pedestrians
● Ask to have Archer to Lawson designated a Community Safety Zone
● Automated Speed Enforcement System installed
● Deputation to Tiny Council for Safety Zone and ASES
● Consider pedestrian crossovers
5.3 Phrag Report - Dana Bradshaw on behalf of Lynn Bradshaw
● Digs took place in July and August
● 80 bags in total
● August dig had 14 volunteers
5.4 CPR Course - Dana Bradshaw
● 3 courses were held
● Defibrillator- there is no public defibrillator at Woodland Beach
● Dana reminded everyone to wear a life jacket and practice water safety
6.0 Thank You - Sandy Baker
● Sandy presented a card, signed by parents and children, in thanks for the donation to Kids Bingo
7.0 Questions/Discussion
● Linda asked how many members read the newsletter and liked the mailchimp format
● Linda asked how many used Instagram
● Linda reminder everyone that volunteers are needed for water testing next year
● Linda announced that we plan to establish a social committee for next year but that volunteers are needed to do this
