Woodland Beach Property Owners Association
August 2012 News Update:SATURDAY SEPT 1st - 10:00 A.M. Bayshore Seniors Hall
WBPOA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
After recommendations from the Police Committee in 2010 and requests for an assessment to slow traffic we are sure you have noticed
the new 3 WAY STOP at the intersection of Lawson & TBRS. Stop signs should improve safety for pedestrians in this central location.
Our new yellow line means no passing but speeding on our roads remain a concern.
Check out our website for a picture of our new WELCOME to Woodland Beach sign at TBR North end.
>Got your new Woodland Beach Hat yet?
Great to see you all in your new T Shirts, Hoodies and Hats. We hear the Hats are great for you beach goers and sailors out there.
Pictures on our website and available at the Sept 1st meeting. Youth - $17.00 / Adult - $20.00

Midland Free Press Article on International Joint Commission Meeting:
>Dead Fish and Birds on our shore
Last Fall WB residents were alarmed to find hundreds of dead waterfowl and fish littering the shoreline. Scientist blame these deaths on Avian or Type E botulism and
predict that such outbreaks may become more common. We have had reports from members of finding and disposing of dead fish and birds (loons and cormorants).
