WOODLAND BEACH HISTORY PROJECT

 

Do you remember the early days of Woodland

Beach? Sunset Pavilion/ Ship-A-Hoy, Woodland Wonderbar/Woodland Terrace Restaurant, horse stables, Franks, Quinns, Culvers, Sunset Lodge, Belevedere Lodge.........

 

Woodland Beach has a rich history that, to date, has not been fully captured for future generations. With the support of the Woodland Beach Property Owners Association, a History Project has begun. Every effort will be made to reach those who can contribute to our memory bank, through pictures, postcards, documents and/or sharing of family memories.

A Woodland Beach History Day is being planned for Summer, 2014 to bring together all interested people and available memorabilia.

Any contribution of information will be most welcome.
